Neighborhood dinners

VCM Students gather in neighborhoods around Manhattan each week during the academic year to share meals in community. These dinners are at the heart of our ministry, providing reliable spaces for rest and relationship each and every week.  Right now, our Village Uptown community meets for dinner on Mondays in Morningside Heights and our Village Downtown community meets on Tuesdays in Greenwich Village.  

Each week at these dinners, we gather around a home cooked meal for good conversation and a simple time of prayer.  We talk about all kinds of things - from scripture to student life to current events and in all of it, we make space to look for God's presence in the midst of our complicated world.  Neighborhood dinners are a chance to rest, recharge and connect with God and community.  

​​All students - no matter what school you go to - are welcome to join us.  Just show up for the weekly gathering most convenient for your location or schedule and we'd love to welcome you.
